Dearest Prayer Warriors,
Couldn't go to bed without sending a little note of love and thanks for all of the support over the past two days.
Visitation this evening was difficult and yet amazingly wonderful. The stream of people never ended from 5 til well after 9. We feel so enveloped in love and prayers.
I will write more tomorrow, but I just wanted to say "I love you" to all of you and THANK YOU so much for continuing to lift our family in prayer.
Nick looked beautiful. The church radiated with God's love. We feel blessed. One very special visitor tonight was Dr. Kosnik!!!
Yes, Nick's brain surgeon came all the way from Columbus, Ohio, to share his love and support!!
I am attaching a picture of me with Dr. Kosnik at the visitation.
I love you all so much.
Until tomorrow,
Tammy (and Tim)

Praising God that His strength carried you through this day. Praying for you for tomorrow--and sweet rest that only He can provide.
You Are Amazing Tammy; You And Nick Are My Heros. I Love You So Much And You And Your Family Are In My Prayers.
We love you all! Please remember we are only a phone call away. I don't know what we would have done without you all when we lost Daniel. But I know Nick is with him now, looking after him and sharing his wonderful smile.
"In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!
Behold your King! Before him lowly bend!"
I heard this part of O Holy Night and thought about you all. Nick knows a new meaning to "BEHOLD YOUR KING" part now! May God be evident in every song and every thing.
Continuing in prayer for you as the days ahead are sure to be so difficult.
What a wonderful surgeon he must be to come all that way to pay his respects!
Continuing to pray for you and your family through this day. You continue to show us that with Christ anything is possible. You are an awesome woman Tammy. Thanks for letting us be on this journey with you, taking the time to write.
May God be with you and your family today and the days ahead.
God Bless.
Janet

It's just an amazing thought that Nick has seen the face of God. Thinking of it brings a smile to my face. The wonder of it all.
Thank you God, that there is a forever!
Tammy, Tim and Family, I am a friend of a friend, and have been praying for you all for some time. And I will continue to do so. Nick has just been added to my list of people I intend to look up when I get to heaven!!! I pray that the good work that God began in him will continue on until that glorious day. Love to you all.
Tammy and family--
I am simply blown away by the glory you all have given to God during this entire time. So many would have shaken their fist at God and turned away from Him instead of running to Him like you did. Know that you are prayed for and upheld by the strong and loving arms of the One who now physically holds Nick.
Blessings, Karen Ehman, Proverbs 31 Speaker
Nick continues to touch the lives of so many. I can only imagine how many brothers and sisters we will meet in heaven that are there because of Nick. When I close my eyes I can see him standing before God, both of them radiant, and I Know Nick was welcomed with, "Well done My good and faithful servant."
Nick lives in the hearts of many and he will continue to make a huge impact on earth and, ultimately, in the Kingdom.
I pray that God's peace will carry you through the days ahead.
Much love to you and your family,

Sweet Tammy... as you face this day I pray for God's grace and strength and comfort to carry you through. You are so dearly loved...
What a blessing to know Nick is at the feet of Jesus and together with your precious Adrienne, Natalie and my son and all the other children who have gone on before him. He's singing praises and finally free from cancer. What an amazing thought!
Know that I love you.. along with so many others and you are in our thoughts and prayers... today and in the days ahead.
Love,
Bonnelle
Tammy, we are still praying for you and your family. Today will be a very hard day. There will be good and bad days from this day forward, but you are strong in FAITH that you will become stronger through this trial. You have been blessing to me and I look forward to hearing from you for strenght and will continue to pray for you and your family.
I just wanted to share something amazing we saw yesterday. Some other KCU students and I were headed to back to campus after being out in ashland. Once we passed over the hill and could see the whole city of Grayson, the whole sky was dark besides for a little bit. The sun made the most gorgeous hole in the dark sky right above your house. As we all sat there looking at the sky all we could think about was how it must be Nick. God bless you, I will be praying for the entire family!
Hi Tammy,
I found your blog through Susan (forver His). I have just read your poast about losing your precious son. I have wept reading it. I don't know personally, and I don't think I have visited your blog before, but please know that as a sister in Christ, my heart goes out to you and your family. I shall pray the Lord be a strong source of comfort for you all at this time.
God's richest blessings,

Praising God that the love of family and friends surrounds you. His doctor is a wonderful, caring man to have come in for this special time. May God enfold you in His loving arms and give you peace and rest. I'm so sorry to hear about Nick, but rejoice that he is no longer suffering but at Home with Jesus! Praise God for his faith and salvation, and for those who taught him to trust in the One who gives eternal life...
Tammy, it is only within the past few months that I began reading your blog. Bonnelle's blog had a link to yours and one day I went to it and was so overwhelmed by your walk with God and your battle for Nick. Your family's life and your love and fight for Nick's life are a rich testimony to Jesus Christ and His amazing grace.
My prayers have been and will continue to be with you and your wonderful family. Nick's life mattered and still matters! He left his mark in this world and now he can rest in the wonderful presence of God.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us, it has profoundly impacted my life!
Dear Tammy,
All of us at Proverbs 31 Ministries are praying for you and your family. Nick will always hold a special place in so many hearts. We will think of him often.
I imagine him laughing and running through heaven's streets amazed at all he sees. And can you imagine how heaven must be decorated at Christmas!
I bet Jesus arranges a Titans themed tree just for Nick.
I love you sweet friend. I'm sending you hugs and love...
Tammy & Tim,
I am a friend of Mary Bondurant and Lara Heck's. My son 8-year-old has been in Dr. Kosnik's care since he was 2 weeks old and is currently being treated for a spinal cord tumor. Dr. Kosnik, as you know, is a man of few words, but an amazing surgeon, doctor and man and I can't imagine going through all this without him. I imagine you don't feel like you are an inspiration to others right now, but Nick's story is touching so many, so far away. We are praying for your family and awed by your faith.
God Bless,
Katie Hostetler
Nischan family-Just wanted you all to know what a joyous uplifting celebration you held for Nick today. I was the perfect service. I've always felt that funerals should be a celebration of the person getting to go to meet Jesus and live in all his glory. You both were very eloquent and everyone that spoke or sang were just filled with the love of God. You have been an inspiration to this community and Nick will never be forgotten.
Tammy & Tim,
Nick has touched so many lives. His memory will never fade from the hearts of everyone who has grown to love him. I know you both are so proud of your son. Your wonderful, amazing, sweet young man is resting in peace with no more pain and he will be waiting for all of us to come visit him.
Please know that you are loved and thought about daily. xoxo Charlotte
You are in my prayers.
Giving ALL the GLORY to HIM for surrounding you in comfort & peace. It's amazing to see how many people your son touched---simply amazing.
Tammy,
Like the KCU students, I too saw the beautiful, bright shining hole in the dark sky and immediately thought of Nick. I had such a strong feeling that I was determined to take a picture of it. I can't imagine what the cars behind me on Midland Trail thought I was doing as I tried to drive and take the picture.
Nick's service was beautiful and inspiring. Knowing Nick and your family makes us all strive to be better and to be what God intended us to be. You amaze and inspire me and I am so proud to call you my friend. I look so forward to see the wonderful things that are to come from Nick's Foundation.
You will continue to be in our prayers in the days ahead. We love you. Tammy and Kaleb
Thanking Our Lord for carrying you all and holding on to you through this hard day of "letting go" and remembering! I pray that His Comforter be there with you throughout each moment as you have relied on His strength through it all. You are absolutely amazing in your faith & faithfulness to this battle and now this new foundation.
Susan(Forever His) is a dear friend of yours and she informed of Nick loosing his battle here but we know he is triumphant on Heaven's side.
You must carry the torch here but after reading all your recent posts to here, I can tell you are ready.
And it sounds like you know the plans before you & have many friends who will support this endeavor to keep Nick & his beautiful memory alive & with great purpose! Outstanding that Nick did not die in vain but with much courage & I'm so thankful much love & peace! Your words are touching! Your heart& faith are inspiring!
The truth that He is holding onto Adrienne is remarkable until you all are together! "There will come that time!" Such a beaming smile both Nick & Jesus have shining on you & all of your family & friends!
Nick has a beautiful smile & his story will live on. May you find comfort, strength and peace to make it through the rest. Praying with the best! How wonderful that Nick's surgeon came to be with you all & Nick! May Our Lord bless & keep you! Much Love & prayers in Christ!
Dear Tammy,
I just wanted to let you know how wonderful of a woman I think you are. Even though I have not even known you or your family in person for a full twenty-four hours, I feel like I have known you for a very long time. This past twenty-four hours will be a time that will be forever imprinted in my heart and has forever changed me as well as other people. You are such a strong woman with courage and an amazing heart for others as well as the Lord. Your faith, love, and dedication to God, your family, and yourself is amazing and something to be sought after. As of this day, I am a new person because of you, Nick and his bravery and strength, and your wonderful family. I will always keep Nick, you, and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I love you all...we're praying for you always, always.
God is loving you and your family through the presence of his people at the visitation. God is holding you above the situation right now. I just prayed for you.
I am just hearing the news and I am once again lifting you up in prayer. Nick was a brave warrior and I think his loving family is pretty brave also. May Gods peace and comfort surround you. -Blessings, Laurie
Tim and Tammy, You and your family are amazing. As I stood in line during visitation looking at all the beautiful memories and pictures all around, I remember thinking what a full, blessed, wonderful life your little guy had in his time here on earth--I believe most people only hope to live the kind of spiritually rich life he so graciously and humbly received. His smile, love and example have touched and will be remembered by so many--both those who knew and those who only knew of him. Praying for the continued peace and strength only our Lord and Savior can provide as you face each new day. Love & Prayers....
Tammy, I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful blog page, and sharing of the LOVE Of Christ.
I am praying for you and, hold your hand softly and cradle you in the arms of prayer, knowing God is too holding you tightly, Karen
What an ispiration you are! God Bless You...my prayers will continue!
Prayers are going out to you all today~
Thinking of you Tammy and Tim...today and always! God bless you!! YOU ARE LOVED!!!

Words cannot express the sadness, and yet, the joy you must feel at Nick's passing. You(and Nick)are the bravest people I have ever seen! How did you do it; go thru your day to day trials, update your blog, etc.? You have the greatest faith I have ever seen. You are truly amazing, and even though Nick didn't get to spend a lot of time with you here on earth, he had a MUCH better life with you as parents in the amount of time he was here than a lot of people do their whole LONG lifetime! People ask "why does God make the decisions he does when He knows it hurts us so?" And I say "because He knows there is a place he has prepared that is SO much bigger and better than here!"
God Bless you all in the days to come...
