More Important Than Mascara....

Psalm 136 (The Message)

Thank God! He deserves your thanks. His love never quits.
Thank the God of all gods,
      His love never quits.
Thank the Lord of all lords.
      His love never quits.

Ephesians 5:19-21 (New International Version)

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:5-7 (New International Version)

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Sometimes it takes a child's behavior to remind me of my own shortcomings.

God longs for us to be thankful....

in all things.

I pray that you can find ways to be thankful today and maybe even say "thank you" to someone you work with or live with for what they mean to you.

Question I'm wondering about:

Can we teach someone to have a thankful heart or is it something that God has to develop?

Well, I'm running out the door to spend the day with sweet fourth graders.  Looking forward to all of your thoughts.

Please share a comment if you have time.  :)

Much, much love,

Thank you dear Tammy for being my friend and for being a Light to the world! You bless me!!

As I think about that question...just based on my own life...I think God has to develop a thankful heart...some people may have it from the time they are a child but I don't think I did until I grew up a little more. Now I am so much more thankful for so many things it overwhelms me...but that is because God has changed me.
