A Christmas Gift Idea...............

If you're looking for something sweet to give a teacher or friend, take a look at this craft idea from Country Living magazine.

We made these this weekend at a friend's house, and I couldn't believe how easy they were to assemble!  I am not normally a craft queen, so I was pretty excited to discover that even I could do this!

DECEMBER WEEKEND 036135

Only 13 more days until Christmas!

Soak up every minute you can with special memories!

When moments of stress or anxiety creep into your days, breathe deeply and remember the first Christmas gift.............

While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,  and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger....

Luke 2:6-7

If a Mason jar, artificial tree, and fake snow can thrill my Saturday, what should the gift of the Savior do to my soul???????

Thank you, Lord, for the best Christmas gift idea EVER.

Your gift changed the course of history, and we are thankful.

Forgive us when our gift-shopping overshadows Your Gift-giving.

Keep our hearts focused on You.

In Your Gift's Name, Amen

Good evening Tammy.

Those look like really cute ideas, I might have to try something similar tomorrow.

This is a tough day for me, dryer went out, no leads on the job front, my husband is having shoulder surgery on Thursday, and it's only by God's grace I haven't slipped down that slippery slope of depression.

Judi, I am so sorry. I will be praying for you and your husband.

Why do tough things seem to happen at the same time?

I am praying for an easy-to-fix dryer, a great job offer, and an easy surgery.

I love the Psalm that says, "I waited patiently for the Lord, He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand."

Judi, God hears you, and He will take care of you. He will give you a firm place to stand.

Love you,
